Brothers left in hospital after brutal beating by gang

Two brothers were left in hospital after being victims of a savage woodland attack. The pair, aged 17 and 22, were on a bike ride at Boldon Colliery Woods, off Cotswold Lane, when they were approached by a 20-strong gang of youths.
