Great bales of fire: Firefighters tackle hay blaze by Charlton Mackrell

FIREFIGHTERS had to put out a big fire in the open near Charlton Mackrell last night - with around 30 hay bales ablaze. Somerton brigade responded to the call-out at Cary Fitzpaine at 8pm, calling in another engine to help out. But by 10pm the
