The A30 Shaftesbury Road in Henstridge Marsh is closed in both directions at the Nyland Lane junction. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 6pm. A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said:

UPDATE: Serious two-car crash in North Dorset closes A30

One person has been injured after a serious accident involving two cars in North Dorset. The incident took place in Shaftesbury, between the Fifehead Magdalen turn off, Kington Magna and Henstridge Marsh. The A30 is closed in both directions.
